Russia's Ilim Group said that this year from January to September its Koryazhma Mill manufactured 826,000 tons of pulp and paper products — a 3 percent increase over the same period in 2011. This includes 288,000 tons of market pulp, which is an 8% increase against the first three quarters of 2011.
Market containerboard output remained flat at 359,000 tons.
Paper output increased by 5 per cent, reaching 179,000 tons in the first nine months of 2012. This includes 66,000 tons of sack paper, 83,000 tons of offset paper, and 30,000 tons of paper for wallpaper manufacturing purposes.
Pulp cooking volume was over 861,000 tons, which is a 3% increase as compared to January-September 2011.
Wood supply volumes have increased by 3% reaching 3,610,000 cubic meters.
OAO Ilim Gofra, the Group's corrugated box plant in the Leningrad Oblast, produced 94,248,000 square meters of corrugated products — a 4.5% increase compared to the first nine months of 2011.
